- Providing technical advisory on pending issues of Salmonellosis to WOAH
- Taking an advisory role on precise diagnosis and control of Salmonellosis for WOAH member countries
- Conducting international collaborative research projects and cooperation on Salmonellosis with WOAH member countries
- Providing information on the occurrence of Salmonellosis outbreaks and analyzing epidemiological data
- Reporting and disseminating information on Salmonellosis internationally
- Providing education and technical training program for WOAH member countries
Research Area
- Researching and developing a technical measure to prevent, diagnose and control avian Salmonellosis
- Developing a technology to monitor and control antimicrobial-resistant Salmonella spp
- Testing for Salmonella spp. in chicken and eggs from poultry farm and slaughterhouse
- Developing and applying molecular epidemiological analysis for Salmonellosis
- Producing and distributing standard antisera against avian Salmonellosis
